I suppose most people hear the words 'Event Planner' and think - Glamourama. I'll admit it does have it's moments.......beautiful decor, music and the odd celebrity sighting (if you consider sports heroes of the past celebrities) but it's not all it's cracked up to be.
I once read an article that listed Event Planner as number 3 on the top 5 most sexy jobs - I stifled a choke on my lukewarm glass of now flat soda (which by the way is what the so-called- third- most -sexy -employee drinks) and thought - wow, is THIS what sexy looks like?
I do like that moment when you first meet someone and they ask what you do for a living...Event Planner.....it feeds images of cool night clubs and hot clothes while snacking on caviar and sipping Grey Goose in a private booth with P.Diddy. It's not the reality - or at least not my reality.
This blog will explore the ugly, sometimes glamorous world of Event Planning....I will take you behind the scenes of pulling off events from parties to meetings and everything in between. Let the adventures begin!
